How Long Will A Yellow Condition Last?
In the event that substantial power resources are not
obtained within this period, a Condition Red alert would be issued and
rotating outages may occur.
Who Will Be Affected?
Any area within the power company service area may be affected. The
rotating outage route is determined by circuits, and not specifically by
location blocks. Areas that will not be affected include all public
safety / emergency services including hospitals, police station and fire
services. Additionally, public services such as sewer and water systems
will not be affected.
What You Should Do?
Do not panic. In the event that a Condition YELLOW is declared,
company officials will be following a detailed emergency plan throughout the
course of the condition.
